This mural featuring the client's children boarding and skiing the slopes of Mont Gabriel in Quebec, adorns the front of his ski-out chalet. When the client first reached out, I was confused to say the least. "You want the entire front of your chalet painted?!"
To keep the mural from overwhelming the community and passersby, I refrained from my solid black outlines. Instead, choosing 4 shades of blue to represent the snow and an orange for highlights and the sun-drenched sky. I chose the colours to be complimented by the white fluffy snow that falls in the winter.
